The festive season has already started. People have already started pandal-hopping with family and friends.
It's a month full of joy, celebrations; a new beginning; a pause in daily life.
Children are excited for free time with no homework, and no one to stop them from playing.
Families are excited to spend their most precious time together.
In some houses, parents are excited to meet their children coming home for the holidays.
Elsewhere, there is excitement meeting grandchildren, perhaps for the first time or after a long time.
Food vendors, small stalls, shopkeepers are busy with last-minute preparations. In some places, there may be a fair where everyone meets in one place.
For some people, the festival brings gifts; for some, it brings more people; for some, a timeless memory; for some, it brings extra money; and for some people, it brings a pause to daily life.
At the end, it brings hope, joy, and blessings, perhaps only for those few days.
